Hussein ibn Ali is the son of Fatima and the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. The Umayyad caliphs killed him, and this led to the overthrow of this dynasty by the Abbasid revolution. This is what everyone has known for about 1400 years. Now is the time to reveal the secret about Hussein. In fact, he survived and became the ancestor of many great rulers. Mahdi – Islamic Messiah, is a descendant of Hussein. For the Islamic world, the disclosure of this secret is in a sense “the resurrection of Hussein.”
Hasan ibn Ali, brother of Hussein, concluded an agreement with the ruler of the Umayyads, Mu’awiyah, that after the death of Mu’awiyah, power in the caliphate was to pass back to Hasan. However, before his death, Mu’awiya appointed his son Yazid as his successor. When Mu’awiyah died in 680, Yazid demanded an oath of allegiance from Hussein, but Hussein refused him. Hussein left his hometown of Medina to take refuge in Mecca. At this time, the inhabitants of Kufa sent him letters asking for his help and promising their loyalty. He went to Kufa with a small caravan, which included his relatives and followers, but near Karbala, the caravan was intercepted by Yazid’s army. It is believed that on October 10, 680, at the Battle of Karbala, Hussein was killed along with most of his relatives and associates.
In fact, Hussein and several of his people survived. You can learn about the further life of Hussein and his people from Mongolian and, in part, Buryat myths. Hussein’s descendants became the rulers of the ancient Mongols, the most prominent of whom was Genghis Khan, the creator of the largest state in the world.
